Ikea Cafe, Ikea Malaysia at Mutiara Damansara
.270309. Lunch with Diese @ Ikea Cafe
I never knew much about Ikea’s food except for the famous RM1’s Curry Puff and Hotdogs right at the exit of the cashier counter. When I usually go to Ikea with my mom, we would order ourselves a combo meal, RM 2 for a puff and a bottomless drink. As for the cafe up on the 1st floor, I think I’ve only eaten there once. With only the swedish meatballs leaving an impression to me about the care, I know nuts about any other food there.
Recently, Diese came down from Penang to cover one of the Malaysian Dreamgirl session and was asked to have lunch with her. Thanks for the treat again!! LOL She is one of those who are crazy over Ikea’s food. Apparently, when she was staying around kota damansara, nearby Ikea, she goes there almost literally everyday for a meal. It doesn’t surprise me when I find out that day that the cafe is packed with customers. Looks like I’ve been missing some really good stuff there!
Anyway, Diese can really eat! LOL When she came back with the orders on the rolling tray, I was stunned. I can’t really eat that much in the morning or when I just got up. So I asked if she can finish them and only one word she replied, YES. Haha. Coolies!! Anyway, I’m not too sure about the price but I reckon it isn’t that expensive though with the amount of people eating there, it has to be fairly reasonable.
Here’s what we had that day!!
*if i’m not mistaken this one is RM10 for 10 balls with potatoes!!*
*Gravad Lax served with a yummy tangy sauce (yummy salmon)!!*
*there’s also dessert!! LOL.. i think i took a bite only.. LOL it was good!*
*seriously, i never expected they sell egg tarts as well, but diese told me its very fast selling*
There you go. If you ever dropped by Ikea which I reckon most of us does at least once in a blue moon. Do try out the food there and tell me what you think =) As far as I’m concerned, I’ve heard quite alot about their food which are positive comments!!
